Dear Parents,

I'm sure that everyone is excited about the end of the school year being on Friday. I'm sure that everyone is ready for a break from homework, timelines and schedules.

At this time, on behalf of the faculty, staff and myself, we wish to express our appreciation for your continued support on all of the numerous activities and fundraisers which took place this year. It has been a very busy year and none of it could have taken place without your help and participation.

We thank all of the parents for allowing us to be a part of your child's life and educational growth and wish each of you a very safe and enjoyable summer. May our dear Lord watch over and protect you during the summer break.

Yours in Christ,

Andrea J. Deebs

TUITION AND LATE FEES--It is important to remember that the last Report Card of the year will not be given to families who have outstanding tuition, picture money, or fees. If there is a problem please contact Mrs. Deebs.

LAST DAY OF SCHOOL--Students will be dismissed at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 13th for  summer vacation. The faculty and staff will be going to lunch that day so it is important that parents arrive on time to pick up their children. Day Care will NOT be in session that day.

KINDERGARTEN GRADUATION--The Kindergarten graduation will take place Thursday, June 12th at 1:30 p.m. in the St. Augustine Center. Siblings and the 1st grade are allowed to attend this special event.

AWARDS ASSEMBLY--The Second Semester Awards Assembly will take place on Friday, June 13th. The 1st - 4th grades will be at 9:40 a.m. and the 5th - 7th grades will take place at 10:00 a.m.

UNIFORMS--When purchasing uniforms this summer, please be sure that they are the regulation ones. You might take the Parent/Student Handbook with you so that they will not try to sell you items that are not required.

We will be having a used uniform sale in August. Information about the day and time will be sent home in my August newsletter. So gather up the old uniforms that your child has outgrown, wash them, and bring them to school at the beginning of August to be part of the sale.

SUMMER READING LIST--Remember that reading is very important for students to do year round so a summer reading list is being sent home to help students to choose books that are outstanding and in some cases should be read before they leave elementary school. So a trip to the Library each week to check out books is fun activity for the entire family.

SUPPLY LIST--To help parents make all the sales this summer, a supply list is being sent home and will also be posted on this site. You might put it in a safe spot so that at the end of July when the sales begin you can start picking up the items that your child will need for his/her new class.

SCHOOL CHOIR--School children are welcome to sing with the School Choir on Father's Day, Sunday, June 15th at the 11;00 a.m. Mass.

SCHOOL RE-OPENS--Classes begin for the new school year on Tuesday, September 2nd. A letter will be sent home in August to all of the families giving the particulars of the beginning of school activities that will take place.

BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION--Please remember to save Box Tops for Education and Campbell Soup labels over the summer.
