USHERS AND GREETERS

Each person who enters into our church, has their day molded by how they are received. This is why this ministry is of such great importance to our liturgies as the Ushers/Greeters are the "face" of the parish. In addition to welcoming, Ushers/Greeters are expected to help find available seating when necessary, keep a watchful eye out, take up collections and assist with the distribution of bulletins at the end of Mass.

Ushers are required to submit to the parish office an up-to-date Virtus® certificate, Fingerprinting certificate, and the signed acknowledgment form for Guidelines for Adults

ATTENTION ALL MINISTERS: "In order for our parish to be in compliance, all lectors ushers, choir members, and Ministers of Holy Communion over the age of 18 need to complete a Virtus Adult Awareness Training. For a listing of the next available training, please click on the "Safeguard the Children" link in the left column of our "Home" page. Thank you for your cooperation in making OMGC a safer place for God's children."
