Serving Singles & Couples in their 20’s & 30’s Welcome to Our Mother of Good Counsel’s Young Adult
Ministry! We proudly serve the
Young Adults of Los Feliz and surrounding communities.
Our mission is to create spiritual and social growth opportunities for
Catholic Young Adults on all spiritual levels, regardless of previous faith
experience or involvement. Our community is constantly growing, and is made up of
average young adults from all career paths, races, and walks of life.
We come together to share the joys and struggles of everyday life, and
through this sharing, support and challenge one another into becoming more fully
our spiritual selves. Regularly-Scheduled Events Include: 6pm Sunday Mass Every Sunday at 6pm we celebrate mass as a Young Adult
Community. Young adults provide all
music, lectors, ushers, and Eucharistic Ministers for this special mass.
We specialize in getting “first timers” involved in a hand’s-on way
within this liturgy. Usually after this mass, an informal group of us will go out
for dinner or dessert. LITURGICAL TRAINING SESSIONS IN JUNEWe are hosting training for all positions every Sunday this month at 5:15 before the Mass. We would love to have you join us. When you arrive, simply come up to the altar and we'll get started with training for any position you signed up for. If you can RSVP for any of the Sundays, that would be great, as it would help me plan what materials are needed. However, you are always welcome! If you did not RSVP but have time one Sunday at 5:15, just show up at the church and we'll get started. Thank you again for you enthusiasm and your patience with this process! --Liz
